A new generation

On 31st December 2015, our senior partner and company founder Udo Voßhenrich retired from his position as Managing Director of POS TUNING Udo Voßhenrich GmbH & Co. KG.

With innovative product ideas, Udo Voßhenrich founded the company in Bad Salzuflen in 1998 and, after a modest start, developed it consistently into the successful worldwide company it is today, with 160 staff. The 71-year-old had been gradually transferring his operative role to his son and partner Oliver Voßhenrich and long-standing Managing Director Christoph Moser for many years. He will continue to contribute his innovative skill and enormous wealth of experience to our company as a partner.

A little history: POS TUNING – for more success at the point of sale

The shelf management and pushfeed systems from POS TUNING Udo Voßhenrich GmbH have been ensuring greater visibility and efficiency in retail shelves, goods displays and freezer units for more than 17 years. Having started as a manufacturer of functional elements, the company is increasingly developing into a provider of complete, innovative POS solutions.

It all started in March 1998 in a garage in Bad Salzuflen-Wüsten: Udo Voßhenrich, founder of POS Tuning, was working on a concept for goods presentation in retail spaces. The idea was simple: When a customer takes an item from the shelf, a spring mechanism pushes the remaining inventory forwards to fill the space. The shelves look full and always tidy, as the goods stand up at the front at all times. These presentation solutions have since become the new standard for many ranges.

The company has always remained loyal to its Bad Salzuflen home. The headquarters made brief stops in Lehmkuhlstraße (2000-2004) and Max-Planck-Straße (2005-2008), before a new plant was established in the Meerbrede industrial zone and expanded in 2012. The former garage business has been transformed into a state-of-the-art, high-performing company with sales offices in England, Spain and Turkey. 160 motivated POS tuners ensure “more success at the point of sale” in more than 120 countries around the world. In early 2015, POS TUNING set a new record: the 100 millionth pushfeed was installed in a food store.
